Lest We Forget

Remembrance Day 2012,

The 11^th hour of the 11^th day of the 11th month,

To have witnessed the devoted show of strength valour and courage, that the men and women of this nation

displayed, as the terrible specter of war descended on us in 1939 was a wondrous thing when they willingly

came together in one united effort to preserve our democratic way of life.

This display of honour, valour, and commitment is the essence of the true Canadian Spirit that simply boggles the mind as our veterans built a debt that we can never repay.

Our present day peacekeepers along with our permanent and reserve units stand ready to defend our nation, continuing our honourable traditions and must also be acknowledged with appreciation.

From a grateful nation we say a heartfelt thank you veterans may god watch over you.

Well done boys and girls, well done! Stand down veterans your job is finished.

Babylon Confidential - A novel by Claudia Christian

Babylon Confidential: A Memoir of Love, Sex & Addiction Now Available at Amazon.com

Babylon Confidential this is not normally a book that would interest me; as I'm not a big fan of interest books based on real life (I get too much real life as it is).  However, if you remember the hit television science fiction show Babylon 5, then you'll remember the character Commander Susan Ivanova, played by the beautiful Claudia Christian.

Babylon Confidential is her story, of her success and her crash due to addiction. Its also the story of how she got it all back together.

The book has stories about her life in Hollywood (the good, bad, ugly and the glitz). Claudia talks about her time on Babylon 5, and her movies.

She also wrote the book as a way to help others suffering from alcohol addiction and their families.
